Yes, it's still coming. One day, you'll actually see Half Life 2: Episode 2 on a retail shelf. You'll even see it bundled with some other goodies like Portal and Team Fortress 2. That day may well be this September. I know, I know, we're on, what, third or fourth delay now, but they can't hold it off forever.
Chatting with IGN, Doug Lombardi and Robin Walker have said they're looking at a "September-ish" release date and, interestingly, that date might not be simultaneous across all platforms. If some versions are ready before others, they'll go out. As for September at the earliest, though...
September is entirely self-adopted. If it finally came to September and we thought the game sucked we wouldn't ship it. We've held it long enough. [laughter]
