David Gardner, who helped establish EA Europe and has been with the company for 24 years, has announced he will be leaving Electronic Arts. Dude wants to move to Europe so he can be closer to his family. Gardner signed up in 1983, played a big part in founding EA Europe in 1987, has been managing director of EA Europe and is currently EA Worldwide's executive vice president and chief operating officer. No word on his replacement, but it'll be hard finding another company man like Gardner. 1983? Man, that's pre-Chuck Yeager.
