C&C Q&A

Command & Conquer is a franchise that's seen better days. Yeah, the spin-offs have been good-ish (Red Alert, Generals, Battle for Middle Earth), but the core of the series, the GDI vs Nod conflict, has been left to wither and die since the slightly crap Tiberian Sun.

Which probably explains why the reaction to the third instalment has been so..."meh". Consequently, this interview with Richard Taylor, Cinematic Director for Command & Conquer 3, should have been boring, full of PR rhetoric and a longing for the return of Kari Wuhrer to the series. It is instead awesome. Why?

Working with this cast was a joy. There were many moments of inspiration so it's hard to pick out one or two. Billy Dee Williams has some impassioned moments that are terrific.

If seeing Billy Dee get all impassioned isn't going to get you excited about this game, you're nothing.
