Microsoft have announced that Australian customers will, from this Thursday (March 15), be able to pick up a Gears of War 360 bundle for AUD$700. You get everything in the premium pack (ie wireless controller, HDD, etc) along with a copy of...yeah, Gears.
I really thought they would have tried this at Christmas, since Gears' sole mission at Christmas was to shift consoles, but it's better late than never. Wonder if this, and not "Zephyr", is Microsoft's shot at a spoiler for the PS3 launch? Who knows? Let's guess!
