Madden 08's feature set, at least on the Wii, is looking generous. Did it just get generous..er? More generous? In an interview with IGN, associate producer Damian Zerr revealed the game won't be using the shriek-inducing friend codes. Not one bit.

Madden Wii doesn't support the Wii friends system during online play. This is something we're still working on with Nintendo. For now our online play uses your EA Nation Persona to search and manage your EA Messenger account.
