Speaking of excellent NES case mods, check out these pictures of a working Gamecube transformed into a vintage 1985 Nintendo Entertainment System, replete with working vintage rectangular controller.

The pictures look as if the photographer slathered the lens with a trowelful of vaseline, and there's no How-To guide. But we don't care — any system so ugly, so inelegant, so absolutely retro is beautiful to our eyes, like a tiny little Joseph Merrick cherub.
