NYC based gamer Jaime unfortunately didn't get to attend E3 proper, but did make it to the Nintendo World Store E3 VIP party, netting one of our readers a rare ownership opportunity: the above pictured DS un-Lite. Here's what he had to say:

This was the gift they offered to anyone who brought their DS to the Nintendo World Store's E3 VIP party. Basically you dropped the DS off at their desk and if you were one of the first 12 (I was lucky number 13), you could get it back that night. Otherwise, you'd have to pick it up when they finished them. Since most people there weren't from NY, only an additional 43 people got their DS etched. There's only 55 of these floating around, and in a few different colors.
