Wanna know when the Revolution drops? Call Nintendo Power (425-885-7529). If you choose to hear more about their next-gen console, the recording says:

"As the company with the strongest heritage of innovation, Nintendo moves the bar for all next-gen systems by employing a wide-ranging strategy that will attract more kinds of gamers to more kinds of games."

Okay, heard this before.

"When the Nintendo's new console, codenamed Revolution, arrives in the later half of 2006, everyone will discover the meaning of all-access gaming."

This looks pretty official, and knowing the big N, they don't let this kinda stuff slip. Fall 2006 is probably later than what most fanboys were hoping for. The company's so waiting until after the dust clears on the the PS3 and the 360 clash of the next-gen powerhouses. Smart move Nintendo.
