Sweet Jesus, that's a lot of Nintendo DS action. Penny Arcade's Child's Play charity, which lovingly gives donated toys and games to kids in dozens of worldwide hospitals, received the above shipment of DS Lites and software from the good folks at Nintendo in a recent purchase.
You know, that Nintendo, they're alright.
But not as alright as I initially presumed. In a wide-eyed and innocent misinterpretation of Mike Krahulik's post on Penny-Arcade, I thought this was a late gesture on Nintendo's part to spread the cheer. Instead, Mike was nice enough to let me know these DSes were purchased at a deep discount with the proceeds from Child's Play donators as some of our lovely commentors already pointed out. I regret the assumption!
