Night Note: A Rose By Any Other Name

Subject: Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes

Yo. So, part of today was spent in the local legal office waiting for my wife to get grilled by some lawyers so they could decide if she'd be able to change her name. She was interviewed for about 40 minutes by two lawyers, alone. The lawyers pointed out that we should consider our options carefully when choosing which name to use. They added that my son might be picked on at school if he had a foreign name to which my wife responded: "Regular people in children don't get to choose their last names. They take their fathers name. And it's not only foreign names that children make fun of."

Guess that worked 'cause she got the okay to change her name and my son's name. Best wedding anniversary present ever. The rest of the day was spent at him, me working. Wife might be annoyed — She wanted to do something for our anniversary, which we will do this weekend.

What you missed while you were sleeping:

Okay, got a few hours left! Time to be a good husband and wash the dishes and let my wife beat me in Excite Truck.
