Day #2 of Mrs. Bashcraft working: house is a mess, dishes in the sink and chocolate all over the kid's face. :( Got most of the place in working order by the time she got home. Apparently, today she sold underwear to her mother — something I could only describe as "awkward" at best if it were me. Though, no sweat for her.

Today, I had to call a foreign country for a big-ass mag article I'm prepping. Had to call twice, and both times the folks I spoke with didn't really speak English that well. I'll hire a translator for the actual interview, but even the preliminary setting up stages are looking to be tough. I had flash backs of when I first came to Japan eons ago, not knowing a single word of Japanese. Rough.

Sometimes, I forget that not everyone speaks A) Japanese B) English. Sometimes even when I post, I forget that not all our readers live in Japan — 'cause tons of them do! Or at least seems super tuned in with what's happening here.
