
South Korea may be on the cusp of the next big thing in video games. The country claims to have come up with a new piece of software that will allow the same computer game to be played on a variety of devices.
The Cross-Platform Game Engine will provide compatibility among "diverse gadgets for electronic games so they can be used on mobile devices and video-game consoles," according to Wired.
For some reason, I don t think this will apply to anything next-gen.
