It's common knowledge that I'm the only Kotaku staffer who gives a damn about PC games, so these little announcements always seem to fall upon my own slumped, chicken-bone shoulders.
F.E.A.R. — a truly outstanding little horror shooter that wasn't given the attention it deserved when it was released by Monolith last year — will be going free with its complete multiplayer package next week.
Called F.E.A.R. Combat, the free download will have 10 gameplay modes, 19 maps and the ability to play against regular retail players.
To register, all you need to do is go on over to JoinFear.com and apply for your keycode. When F.E.A.R. Combat is released late next week, just download, plug in your code, and get a free lick at the teat of a game you should be already suckling.
