Microsoft may be trying to snatch up 18,000-square feet of prime Times Square real estate in which to sell their next-gen console.
The New York Post reported that Microsoft is considering opening a four-story retail story at One Times Square, the location of the annual New Year's celebration. Does this means that the ball the drops this December will be decorated with a swirl of greenish stripes?
The store would likely become Microsoft's answer to the slick Apple and Sony stores that have been cropping up, though I would think Msoft's would likely deal in Xbox 360 merchandise only.
