Last night's Gamespot Rumor Control agents saw fit to inform the gaming masses about a GAF message board post that indicated a new Xbox 360 SKU was due soon. Dubbed the "Pro Bundle" it would include the Pro-level system plus a copy of Project Gotham Racing 3, a 3-month Xbox Live Gold subscription, and 1250 Xbox Live Marketplace points. The GAF rumor also hints that we'll see this bundle in stores starting on or around August 1.

Gamespot followed up with a Microsoft rep who regurgitated the usual "No comment" but also provided its own reason for why a bundle like this makes so much sense.
