News of Metal Gear Solid Online's demise may have been a little premature: Konami were right to specify it was only the North American servers being killed off, because those in Europe have been spared the hangman's noose.

Following the announcement that the US servers for the online elements of Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence are to close, Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH wishes to reassure European fans of the game that this will not affect them. The European MGS3 Subsistence Servers will stay online.
