Get your elf ears and foot wigs ready, Tubine, Midway and GameStop are readying a series of Midnight Madness launch events across the United States.

Gamers will have a chance to pick up a copy of the massively multiplayer online game, meet members of the the Lord of the Rings Online team, win signed posters, pre-paid game cards and t-shirts from the event. Special prizes will also be awards at each location to the three gamers who wear the best Rings-themed costumes.

The midnight events actually start at 11 p.m. on April 23 at each of the five locations:
