Was this a localization issue or was this something the Japanese developers included in the game? Because, once, whilst in Japan. I was visiting a small town in the Aomori prefecture. Outside of a Junior High School, there were several bushes. One of which, was trimmed to resemble a small soft-serve-ice-cream-twirl pile of poop.

the music kicked ass, aside from the boss theme which grows on you.(regrettably) And I doubt they changed that.

As for the poo snake, Im glad it remains. although ive yet to find the 2 rare ones. One day I shall though, one day......(Ive spent over 200hours in blue dragon so far and still no golden turd, lots of other colors though)

Well, I've decide I'd be getting this and IdolM@ster the day they come to america, but this achievement makes it all the more worthwhile.

Wow, the Poo Snake pretty much sells it. Although I do have to admit that Blue Dragon's character designs seem pretty unappealing to me compared to the studio's other effort (Lost Oddysee).

I'd be more frightened of the Red Poo snake.

"Localization issue" this is not, the poo snake is a frequent enemy in the game. The Golden Poo Snake is a typical "almost always goes before you and runs away" monster, while the King Poo Snake is the hardest boss in the game.

(The best part about it is that not only is it optional, the only item you get out of it is a subquest to get Toriyama Akira's autograph).

A friend of mine played through the japanese version and wondered if they were going to change the poo characters names. Guess not! :)

kinda common to see plastic swirled poo heaps in Japanese trinket shops. perhaps it has to do with the Shinto belief that everything can be a focus of worship. There's some sense in poop, as it has its place in the cycle of life and death.

So a snake thats golden and smells like poo, or a snake that is made of poo? that would be one tough boss...

I can only imagine what Japan must be on to come up with this stuff.

If only the pictures for those two achievements were d20's instead of d6's, that would be the awesomes.

I notice two of the secret acheivements have zero nerd points associated with them. I didn't even know that was possible. I wonder what those are?
