No, not the lady in the scarf, but the cat in the suit. That's Korean superstar Jang Dong-gun: Actor, musician, gaming spokesperson. Starting in January, Nintendo will feature the popular actor in DS ads starting in January. The Korea Times quotes a press release in which Nintendo says:
We picked him because he is a representative of people who don't look like a game fan at all.
It's unclear whether this release is from Nintendo Nintendo or "Nintendo" of Korea and what exactly a "game fan" looks like. Guess they don't wear suits or something.
