A "worldwide team" of 3D artists plan to bring a short fan-made CGI StarCraft movie to life, called "StarCraft Chronicles." While the flick has nothing to do with the game's maker Blizzard Entertainment, it is being put together by highly skilled StarCraft lovers. Game site Blizzplanet says:

This is not a profitable-financed project and has no offensive material that can damage Blizzard. The team behind this project is not affiliated with Blizzard and is run by Starcraft fan community professional 3D modelers and animators.
