Korean online gaming is coming to America. Next March, the country's biggest online game company NHN will open a U.S. game portal. NHN operates South Korea's biggest portal site (Naver) and the largest online game site (Hangame).
The country is famous for having hardcore online gamers. No doubt Hangame is in the eye of the hurricane. The company offers easy-peasy games like Minesweeper to more difficult RPG games like Lineage. According to The Korea Times, 1.1 million players are connected to Hangame at peak hours. Recently a South Korean gamer had a heart attack and died after 58 hours of non-stop online play. How's that for a recommendation.
