Way back in October, we reported on the fight between King's Quest fans and Vivendi. The publishing company had issued a cease and desist to the makers of the ninth installment, becausea it wasn't licensed by Vivendi. Now, the official site for the game indicates that a deal was struck and KQ IX would see the light of day sometime in 2006. Wooo, the man has been defeated!
