Xbox Controller in the US Army

Photos taken of some the Army's newest defense gadgets include a SUGV (robot) that helps soldiers stay a few steps behind dangerous situations. But what's that in his hand? Why it's an Xbox 360 controller! Yes, why build a remote for your fancy robot when he's just going to blow up anyway:

...The Future Combat Systems program, the Army's largest modernization initiative. Now about four years old, the program envisions a family of high-tech gear including sensors, aerial drones, and manned and unmanned ground vehicles, all fully networked and linked to individual soldiers.

You think every time they clear a field, the robot gets an achievement unlocked?
