Two interesting bits of Jack Thompson news: First, and most exciting, is the fact that the webmasters at Grandma Hardcore have answered Thompson's insane call for a video game that allows you to go on a killing spree in a video game store. They are awaiting his check to the charity group.

Zork Thompson v1.0 is a text adventure with a click interface that has you taking on the roll of a man whose son was killed by one of those crazy video game players. Check out the site where you can read the script for the game or play it. You also can "buy" the game through a PayPal donation, meeting Thompson's final criteria I believe.

As of Sunday night, the GH crew had been unable to hunt up Thompson to let him know which charity they want the money donated to. I suggest Child's Play, Penny Arcade's annual fundraiser which has raised millions. Of course, it will feel like a drop in the bucket to them, but every little bit helps, especially when it comes out of the sweaty pockets of a weasel.

On the other side of the coin Defamation of Character: A Jack Thompson Murder Simulator is a Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas mod that allows you to take on the gaming industry as a psycho, Manchurian Candidate version of the lawyer.

GamePolitics contacted good old Jack about the second game and the weasel did what he does best, tried to weasel out of the open contract for the creation of a game he created. He calls his request a piece of satire and says it was called A Modest Proposal because it is akin to Jonathon Swift's famous piece of satire with the same name. I don't but that for two reasons: First, Jack Thompson is too stupid to have heard of something written by a 18th Century satirist, despite the fact that he is the living embodiment of a yahoo. Second, you have to be satirical for something to be satire. Swift's "modest proposal" was for dealing with over population and starvation in Ireland. He suggested people eat their babies, an idea so extreme it had to be satire. While Thompson's suggestion fits in with his daily rants on TV and emails to anyone who cares, or doesn't care to listen. So cough up the money Jack.
