A few months before kicking off a tooth-and-nails fight with Nintendo for the handheld hearts and minds of gamers everywhere, Sony is inducting the creator of Mario into their Walk of Game. Nintendo super designer Shigeru Miyamoto and Pong creator and Atari founder Nolan Bushnell will both get shiny stars in the Lifetime Achievement category of the walk. The walk, which is the lame gamer s version of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, is located in the heart of Sony s San Francisco entertainment complex, the Metreon. New stars will also be added for Halo, Link, Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog. What, no star for Rumble Roses?
