Nearly 2,200 people have already voted in the first official Kotaku poll. The question is: How did Hot Coffee get on the Grand Theft Auto disc?

So far about 34 percent of the voters think "Some programmer slipped it in as an Easter Egg" which is kind of funny since I've had scores of programmers tell me that that is pretty much impossible with something as intricate as the Hot Coffee content.

The runner up opinion is Rockstar left it on the disc because they're lazy/sloppy, with a tad under 25 percent thinking that's the way it was.

I personally think Rockstar put it there as a sly marketing ploy, but only 19 percent agree with me. So what do I know?

I plan on leaving the poll up through Sunday, which would give it a week to collect data. If you haven't yet, make sure you pop by and cast your vote.
