Miami Vice Star In New GTA (No Mom, Not Don Johnson)

In the 1980's Philip Michael Thomas was hot. The heart throb was costarring on the biggest cop show on TV, recorded an LP and had three names. Philip Michael Thomas was on top of the world.

Then, Miami Vice went off the air. While co-star Don Johnson went on to other things like TV show Nash Bridges and sexual assault, PMT was left holding the bag. With film and TV opportunities few and far between, he signed on to be the spokesperson for Florida-based Psychic Reader's Network. He was eventually canned.

PTM rebounded, lending his voice to PS2 title Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. The 57 year-old actor is back and will be playing the lead role of Lance Vance in the PSP title Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. The Rockstar Leeds production is supposedly a more solid outing than the previous GTA PSP game. And hey, it's got that dude that played Tubbs in Miami Vice.
