I have a friend who is famous for saying the most glamorous thing anyone can do is stay in bed all day. In that manner the "television show" has to the best invention on the planet and I. will. watch. any. of. it. Sitcoms, reality shows, court tv, documentaries. Heck, I even love to watch television shows about other television shows, so when I saw that Gamespot had a little diddy they like to call Indievelopment, a show about what it's like for a company to make a video game, I thought, "Sure, I'll even put it in front of queue, ahead of ANTM".
That was a mistake and apparently, the only thing it takes to create a video game is to have one annoying group meeting after another where everybody talks about what they should do only to find out later that no one did it. So if you want to feel like a game developer, just go to your own work. It's kind of like that.
I'm sure the people at Echelon Software (the developers highlighted in the show) are very talented people, they just don't make good tv.
