This Day in Gaming, May 25th

434px-Tdsfrontwtmk.jpg1999: Following an acquisition of FASA, Microsoft announces that Shadowrun is no longer in development. And I'm glad, since the upcoming version looks way more awesome than what we would have gotten on the original Xbox.

2004: Eidos releases Thief: Deadly Shadows for Xbox in the US. The Thief franchise will always stay fresh in my mind, if for no other reason than the simple fact that we all want to steal stuff all the time. Am I right? Oh...you don't? Next thing I know you'll all be telling me that amphibian pornography is no longer the rage.
