This Day in Gaming, May 10th

2004: Microsoft announces a new service called Xbox Live Arcade. It's aimed at casual gamers and people too cheap to buy real games. But they don't say the too cheap part. And the games are sorta quite real.

2005: Eidos releases Smart Bomb for PSP. Unfortunately, if the bomb explodes and the player loses, it does not actually destory the PSP. Zing! Seriously though, I just pulled out my PSP again for some Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, reminding me that the platform is capable of so much more than crappy puzzle games with bad load times.
