Corgi International is one of those places that makes collectible items for obsessed fans of various franchises. For instance, on their site right now, you can purchase several replicas of rings worn by Johnny Depp in Pirates of The Caribbean or a limited edition Luke Skywalker blaster from Star Wars.
In their recent newsletter, Corgi has announced a new partnership with Microsoft to start producing collectible Halo merchandise as part of their Master Replicas collection. Inspiration for the pieces will based on all three games in the Halo series. In addition to their own products, they will also be distributing Kotobukiya's sure to be amazing Halo figure collection.
Seeing Corgi's attention to detail and bizarre minutia, I won't be surprised to start seeing things like replica Halo armor, helmets and Master Chiefs collectible jock strap.

The Fanboys DEMAND that the Jock Strap be Scratch-n-Sniff!!
*is not one of those fanboys*
Why does their website refuse to acknowledge the wonderful Twilight Princess Master Sword and Hylian Shield 1/8th size replicas they made?

This is so weird. I have met many fans of the Halo game, but I haven't encountered a single person that's a fan of the 'mythology' of the game, or obsessed to the point of collecting figurines.
@topaz420:
Wha? Seriously? Almost everyone I know is obsessed with the mythology. Books, figures, limited edition mylar, the whole nine yards.
Weird. o_o;
You dont know many people then. You just need to look in the right places online to find millions of people who like Halo purely for the 'mythology' as you put it.
Read the novels and you'll see why.
Yeah...there's a huge community for Halo fan fiction. People have written novels (that are worth of publishing) on Bungie.net's forums. HBO (Halo.Bungie.Org) though, is the number one site for its fan fiction. Basically, like what Bob said, just read the books.
YES! I tipped this...I did, no one else...please lie to me and say it was me Brian...I'm so lonely...
