Did you like the news last week that Red Octane would be releasing wireless guitars for the PS2? Did you get so excited that you just presumed it would be the same story for the upcoming 360 version?

eToychest didn't presume, they took action, and asked Red Octane whether the 360 version would also feature wireless guitars. Their response?

Well, that's a Microsoft issue. Their wireless technology is proprietary...so they aren't allowing 3rd party manufacturers to make anything at the moment....so until they allow us to do so, we aren't able to.

Well...that sucks. It's not an everlasting no, as it does leave the door ever-so-slightly ajar for a wireless controller sometime in the future. But for now, no dice. Luke Plunkett
