I was placed 15th overall career mode for a little while. I'm trying to enjoy it while it lasts :D.

How early did people get their copies of this game to get such a high score? Jeez!

I thought this wasn't out for a few more days...? It's killing me that other people are already playing and my preorder is sitting in a truck somewhere.

Since the names of all the leaders are the same across the three consoles, maybe they're premade.

i guest is easy to make a cheat for this. you only need to feed the game image to a program to detect color patterns, and output to the input device.
i guest something like imagemagick can do the "pixel peeking" thing. but for the output you may need some library that may already exist, that simulate a xbox pad...

once you have everything setup, you can make so the game play automatically a few days, with perfect scores 24/7.

As for people who got it early: leaks and contests. I have a friend I've been chilling with who got an early GH3 360 copy by winning it at a radio contest.

Got a copy today and returned it. Some copies are having serious lock up issues after completing a song.

@romBox: I thought it was funny too, but it's probably just something about it being easier to sneak out with the XBOX 360 and Wii versions early somehow.

Or maybe just that there's more users of the Wii and X360, there's bound to be more good players thus.

@radink: Ain't a hack. My friend actually does play Guitar Hero professionally (as in, makes money doing it and promotions). He's just very, very good... (Look for videos of "Kov" if you want to see him on Youtube.)
