Over at the official site, NCSoft and ArenaNet slung some PR on the upcoming Guild Wars: Factions setting. The heavily PvP MMO will receive a new continent to quest and PvP on, in addition to two new professions (Assassin and Ritualist) as well as a new observer mode so that the carebears can watch the PvP as it happens.

The most innovative part of all of this, however, isn't the changes NCSoft is making to the game, but instead that they are giving existing players and anyone who wants to try it out a chance to demo the Factions gameplay during the Jan. 20-22 weekend.
