A GameStop mole sent us some inventory scans showing that the chain is preparing for the arrival of the DS Lite. The first scan shows that all of the DS are delisted and discontinued. This could mean that either GameStop or Nintendo is getting out of the regular DS biz or, much more likely, that the DS is going to be getting a price drop.
The second scan shows that a whole slew of third party accessores for the DS Lite are hitting in June, reaffirming our belief that the DS Lite will hit the country in mid to late June. The only product with a specific date is the DS Lite Travel Kit by Naki, which shows it is hitting on June 16. Interesting, that's one of the two date's we've heard as the possible release date for the DS Lite. The other is June 21. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.
