David Jaffe doesn't just have a script in his hands for a God of War movie, he's got his eye on a potential leading man. And it's...not who you think. Unless you guessed. And man would this be a random guess. When asked by Entertainment Weekly who he's considering, Jaffe shot back:

Djimon Hounsou as Kratos. Absolutely. You have to get past the fact that Kratos is Greek, but in terms of the way he looks and his acting ability and his physique — I can't think of a better choice.

It's an interesting choice. Hounsou always comes across as a complete badass, but could he pull of the cheesier, more tongue-in-cheek side to Kratos? Only an audition in a hot tub with two naked Greek chicks and a pissing statue could decide. Luke Plunkett
