Haven't seen this thing get much press (which is surprising considering the amount of good stuff on offer), but the GO3 gaming expo taking place in Perth next month is starting to look quite tasty.
Running between Friday March 30 and Sunday April 1, the event's split between a conference and a showroom floor, with some extracurricular stuff thrown in around the fringes for colour.
So what's on offer?:
- Conference addresses by Hideo Kojima, Mizuguchi, Goichi Suda and Masaya Matsuura (Vib Ribbon, Parappa).
- A showroom floor featuring Bioshock, Army of Two, Stranglehold, The Darkness and stacks more upcoming Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony and PC games, with lots of them playable.
- A Cosplay comp that's apparantly shaping up to be terrifyingly large.
Plus...a whole lot more stuff, with more speakers and games yet to be finalised. Yeah, it's in Perth, I know, but to soften the blow they're offering discount travel and accomodation packages, so if you're dying to stalk Kojima for a day you can do it on the cheap.
