Hm, if I'm not mistaken, in Idolm@ster there's one part where you demonstrate what a chikan would do. You have to use the correct creepy laugh and also you fondle the girl.
Maybe I'm thinking of a different game. Hell, I could be talking about ANY game at this point.

I'd hate to be a stickler about appellations, but I hardly consider THE iDOLM@STER and things of that ilk to be "nerd" territory. That statement may even be a slight to nerds everywhere! Being bookish, ridiculously into fantasy or having an affinity for science and math is one thing, but digging prepubescent girls in erotic cosplay is something QUITE different.

eroge benchmark programs... why does this not surprise me at all? After finding out it was a benchmark program I had to 'test' my system, I need to do some tuning and not rebooting this week might be causing some issues but I ended up with 67 fps, so not too shabby

This is too awesome, I'm going to have to run this benchmark when I get home. See how the performance is... yeah, that's it.

This didn't make nearly as much impact as I thought it would... You'd think that it'd be prime fanboi bait, and yet the 2ch threads on the game are as dead as ever post-launch, and Im@s threads brushed on it for about 3 hours tops.

Seems the TimeLeap benchmark mirrors are swamped with Kotakuites wanting to download it...
Holyseal lists 18 mirrors, and on all I only got pitiful 15kb/s tops (if they were responding at all).
Only on the before last I finally got decent speeds.

Graphics are impressive but there's something very unsettling seeing anime characters move so realistically. It's like watching those crazy people who were anime masks. It's just flat out creepy.

The frame rate just depends on how beefy your PC hardware is, just like pretty much every other PC game out there.

LOL a friend linked me the benchmark demo a couple of days ago. I ran it a thought it was kinda pointless. This article is the first time I've heard that it was a hentai game. Maybe it isn't so pointless after all. ;)

This further proves why the japanese don't need Xbox 360... since even a small studio can release a better copycat game... to the niche market

I played the demo of this game last night. Great way to get your iDOLM@STER time while seeing panty shots as much as you want.

They look WAY too old for a hentai game.

This has way less uncanny valley factor to it than iDOLM@STER does. I'd hope they find something else to use this tech with because it actually does look good. I didn't see any clipping and the hair and designs don't look flaky in movement. It's very fluid.
