Expect the controversy with Rockstar's physiological journey into hell, Manhunt 2, to continue until it goes on sale July 10th. IGN's Matt Casamassina provides details and descriptions on the game's level design and concept art. The three locations touched upon include "The Asylum," "S&M Club" and "The Honey Pot" — the concept art for two of those locations include rear ends. Can you imagine? Something we all have! For our more sensitive readers who have never seen a derriere, I've put the images and IGN's descriptions after the job. Hindquarters onward!

What appears to be an underground fetish nightclub hides even darker secrets. The original conceptual drawings were incorporated into the final level design, complete with stage for pole dancer in dominatrix leathers. Later level design took the board even further, with a subterranean torture facility where the clientele indulges in their most depraved snuff fantasies, observed and documented from behind a series of two way mirrors. These torture chambers serve as a screening facility for potential Pickman Project candidates...

The seedy lobby and garish neon does little to hide the sordid sex trade being plied upstairs. The textures of the moldy rugs, the flickering lights, the creaking wood floors and red color palette all ooze decay and corruption.

Lol wow... This game is a just a big "Hey f*** you, we do whatever we want!" to all the critics. :D I got to get some popcorn before the controversy starts!
sex, nude womens...wii all over them - can this get any better?
I. can't. wait.
If only this wasn't going to be Refused Classification in Australia :-(
Why is that TV vertical...?
At least the game is no longer trying to hide the fact it's about the eroticization of power. Snuff graces the Wii console in the form of Manhunt 2.

@Flazh: Either it's the perspective of the picture OR the inhabitant of the room is playing lots of vertical ShmUps on that telly.
Hey just as long as there is no male nudity.
This SO just got banned in Australia.
This SO just got bought by JT. I mean banned. BANNED!
I had no interest of playing this game (I never played Manhunt), but now all of a sudden I want a Wii and this game to play on it...
So hows this going to go down in the US and Europe? I mean it was a given that Manhunt 2 was going to get banned here in Australia, even without the sexuality and violence proximity or whatever the hell the OFLC call it. How do ESRB and the other various classifications boards take to this sort of thing?
@Flazh:
They must be playing Ikaruga, which is my most played game on the Wii also!
Sexii.
even the projection on the top pic is rotated. its like a new pal format maybe? oh well, i'm excited..... about playing the game.
@Devr: Exactly, here in America lawyers and politicians can get as upset and huffy puffy as they want, but in the end it may just make Rockstar get more and more liberal with their freedom of speech.
"Oh, you don't like the gory details in Manhunt 2? Well let me throw in some tits, maybe that'll balance it out, right? LOLz."
Yes! I can't wait for this game. I love deliberately offensive stuff. I just laugh thinking how many a*$holes are going to whine and try to ban this game...because I know in the US that it won't work and will ultimately give the game free publicity.
I know this sort of comment has been done to death but really... When you have a game that the main objective is to murder people in the most graphic way possible some small nudity (hell even full frontal nudity) really shouldn't make it more adult or controversial.
I know that's not how it works but it really should be. Society is really screwed up sometimes
I wonder if the ESRB will step up to the plate and even consider slapping an AO on this game.
I mean, that's what it's there for, right?
Not implying that the nudity should make it AO, i thought it should have been AO with the violence. It's not like anyone is arguing that non-adults should play this game...
@Flazh: There's a nekkid chick's ass in there. *Everything* should be standing verticle.
I am shocked and appalled that you published uncovered rear ends in your fine gaming blogazine.
You even made me drop my monocle in my tea!
So this'll be another reasons why Aussies should import their Wii, eh?
@Cutedge: The AO rating is a death sentence for games. Most retailers won't even display AO rated games on the shelves, leading to poor sales.
I'm still seriously considering picking this one up. Finally some proper ultraviolence on the Wii :D
But nothing says "sexy" like asylums.
@pupaboy: Yeah, you might catch the homo.
dont you just love the child reaching for the ass picture at the top.
haha. thats priceless.
as for this news... manhunt just got even cooler!
So by getting this game, I not only get a slick, demented, engrossing game experience, but I also get to give the finger to Jack Thompson at the same time?
......
I MUST HAVE IT!!~!
