Yup, guess we won't be seeing the Gizmondo in the States anytime soon. Tipsters Tony and Kelly pointed out that EB Games is listing the handheld as coming out next year.

Earlier this month, co-founder Carl Freer said, "Contrary to rumors in the marketplace we are not delaying the scheduled USA launch, we are committed to the October 22, 2005 release date, and the product will be available in all 50 states well in advance of the Christmas retail season." Either EB Games has made a mistake or Mr. Freer is lying through his teeth. Least we not forget that dear Carl paid his wife $170,000 for "consulting" services and an introduction to Sting.

Sony can keep pushing the PS3 back until the next century, and I'd still want to buy the machine. Gizmondo, on the other hand, who gives a rat's ass? Even if it comes out tomorrow, I'm keeping my money. Let them pay outta their own damn pockets to brown nose popstars.
