Metal news site The PRP are reporting that Queens of the Stone Age, who have a new album that needs shilling come June, have been confirmed as appearing in a bunch of video games. They list Madden 08 and NASCA-yes, I'm moving along. Of more (any) interest are the two other games they're "confirmed" to appear in, Guitar Hero III and Rock Band.
Unless I'm getting forgetful in my old age it makes them the first announced band for either game.
This all ties in neatly, like a dainty little ribbon-wrapped present, with this scan we received the other day from an anonymous tipster, who snaked it from the Universal Music Group's extranet site.
