The EA dresses are profoundly unflattering. The whole EA section seems to be quite antiseptic and boring.

Is it just me or are many of those "booth babes" just girls.

Are geeks so sexually repressed that even a standard, walking around girl is considered a booth babe?

Sorry, but I don't quite get it...
What do they do? Do they answer questions regarding the company/game or do they just wander around to be stared at with the company logo tagged on their body?

I can understand the nostalgia in having "booth babes" at these game conventions has become a staple, but for an industry that is trying to evolve more into reaching more families, casual players, and women into the target audience - it seems kind of degrading or sexist to continue pigeonholing it as a boys only industry when every booth you pass by has models dressed up like scantly clad whores in cos-play. Mind you this rant is coming from a gamer gf of mine who has gone to previous E3's with me.

@doubtful: I totally agree. Anyone who has had to stand behind a dumb booth broad and watch her clumsily stumble through a game will tell you it's a stupid attention getting strategy. But the old E3's (and TGS to an extent) were great with booth babes because suckas who could never be around hoes in real life were all in line taking pictures with these dames while focused gamers got hands on with the actual games. Sweet.

The German GC girls have always lacked the extreme hotness E3 babes used to have. They're always regular girls, so they lack that larger than life (literally) flair US babes have. Basically GC is trying to imitate without making an effort.
