Where'd that Bioshock post go?
Oh my fucking god that was just beautiful. :D
Oh my God, I can't wait!
that was fucking awesome.
Fucking HILARIOUS. Damn it all, I'm going to have to cancel Haze and get Orange Box instead.
Unless it's a farm. Brilliant.
Give it to me now!
Man, I can't wait to get Half-Life 2: Orange Box.
Oh god, that's perfect. It's like a Pixar worked animation.
Very impressive. Can we get these writers working on Army of Two? Please?
@Ethereus: That's what came to mind here too, Pixar.
I love the style of this game! Fantastic!
that was fucking amazing Christ if only the real game has such humor
I love the new art/style direction the game has. It definitely adds more "character" to each of the classes. Can't wait for this to come out.
HAHA! Oh wow, awesome.
Pure WIN, please make one for a the classes. FPS with personality? Unheard of!
I meant ALL they classes, durr.
lol that was freakin funny. Look amazing too, but then id have too decide to either get this or mass effect?
Yep, definitely reminds me of Pixar... Is this actually running in the source engine?
Gah, me no type so good.
rofl at spys face after being hit by the shovel
That was fantastic.I really wanna see one based on the sniper. Why?Cause he has a hat.
made me snort lol
@killershatner:
To be more precise, it's exactly like The Incredibles. Which is a good thing.
Well if I had a choice between playing Team Fortress and paying $50 a year for the pleasure or playing it and not having to pay $50 and still being able to play it. I'd choose not paying. So it may have to be PS3 version of Orange Box for me.
Why would you have to pay $50 a year? Also, fuckin awesome.
@matt57488: It's a shot at the Xbox Live service.
Pixar quality animation?
Um... that's actually an insult to Pixar animators...
their animation style/philosophy is completely different than what you see in this trailer.
Why are there so many good games coming out whilst all of my money is being spent on Uni.
Damn you industry, damn youuuu!
As for this, well i love Valve's humour and these videos are rife with it.
Oh my god that was pure gold.
The closest thing to bringing back memories of Goldeneye for the N64. This game is destined to become a classic.
For those of you who love the art direction, and that should be all of you since it's brilliant, here's a video of how they acchieved the unique look of the game

Sorry if this has already been posted
muahahahaha.. and muahahahahahah :D
How does Pixar come to mind? Because they are computer animated cutscenes with colorful visuals? The comedic styles, camera angles, and dialogue are nothing alike.
That dude is a lunatic, love it!
My brother is a marine from back 15yrs ago or so, he said that Sun Tzu's "The Art of War" (among other books on warfare) was required reading.
Who'd have thunk it?
Dang, that was face licking good. If the game looks anywhere near that good, it's going to own me.
I forgot if I've said this before, but with CoD4, HL2:EP2 Orange box, Bioshock, Gears of War, UT3, it's a great time to be a PC gamer.
@Karttikeya:
Any time i see comparisons to Pixar it's a compliment to both Pixar and the commented item. Pixar have essentially set the bar for computer animated graphics, so when something's compared to Pixar it's a compliment to Pixar's high standards and the article at hand. It's not people comparing Pixar's way of presenting ideas, just their visual standard.
Love those vids. Hope the game looks as smooth.
Sadly though, some kid in school will actually believe Sun Tsu took two animals on a boat.
Thank you Valve, for bringing personality to the Soldier and the Heavy Weapons Guy. Shame that they might not have time to do trailers for the other classes.
@ILOVEGAMES: Yeah, if you play nothing but FPS.
Whoops. Should add, I think this looks friggin' awsome.
Dude, that was amazing.
I hope they don't mess up the widescreen, and render the game completely useless!!!
Valve is amazing. I love them so very much.
Except for Steam. It hates me. :(
That's why I'm getting The Orange Box for the 360. All my favorite games (I bought the Xbox version of HL2 to bypass steam), plus Portal, plus Team Fortress 2. If I could give a somewhat faceless developing studio a hug, I would.
OMFG hilarious. I still play TFC weekly and cannot wait for the orange box.
I so hope that they do one for every class :D
I was really looking forward to the Orange Box; now I really want a weekly Orange Box series on tv, please.
Fun fact: if you watch the HD video, on the "Meet the Solider" screen, it says "Copyright LOLOLOL".
I cannot wait for this game. That, and Portal. This whole Orange box is going to kick major ass.

I would love it if they made figurines for these.
Sell like hot cakes.
@CheechWizz: I'm glad you posted that link. If it was posted earlier, I hadn't seen it. But it was very informative and entertaining. Something I think everyone here should check out.
Was this trailer really better? I don't think so. I took a gander back at the Heavy Weapons Guy which I haven't seen in months, and it still holds up just fine. I pin them to be equally amazing. Which makes me want more.
Good job Valve, I'm sold.
Seriosuly that was the best damn trailer I've ever seen for a game.
Pure win.
This has got to be some of the best advertising any game has ever had, if not any product ever. Screw the Geico cavemen, I would actually watch a series based on these shorts. Maybe it's time Steam took a page from Gametap and started showing it's own original series...
hahaha priceless
I want to see some videos of either the sniper or the engineer. Always played as those classes in the original TFC.
NO my beloved SPY!
Is...is that what I think it is? Gibs? :O OMG, if they bring back gibs, then it's definitely a plus! I like seeing my enemies flying off into pieces when being blown up with a rocket/grenade, not ragdoll free-flying effects. XD
Loved the trailer, by the way. This is the way to advertise a game. The direction for this one kind of reminds me of the game: No One Lives Forever, which is good. lol
I can see some sort of romantic relationship between the engineer and his creations.
Awesome. These TF2 clips rival that of a major animation studio like Pixar. Orange Box is going to be great.
@BishBashRoss:
There's a buttload of other great games coming out for PC soon that aren't FPS's. Spore, World in Conflict, etc. etc.
Oh my god i'm so in love with this game.
Sun Tzu, Noah, "Unless it's a farm!", and extreme gibbing
F T W
that is great animation, i hope the game play is just as good.
seriously these guys should make a movie out this, im sure when its out the community will.
It's obvious what we need to do. We need to get this Sun Tzu guy in a ring with Chuck Norris. People would pay millions to watch. From spy satellites, that is, they'd have to evacuate Vegas. And the Reno. And maybye Nevada entirely, just to be safe. Just Sun Tzu and Chuck Norris and one very, very brave man in a striped shirt.
@Torokun: Quality. As in; the standards. Not the style or philosophy, the quality.
@mossberg: that was fucking amazing Christ if only the real game has such humor
TF can have a lot of humor, but it's all up to how you play. I used to love playing the medic because other people ignored the class. Poisoning people would cause hilarity (and insults) when they died and there was nobody on their team to heal them. The engineer was also great fun. I used to get a lot of abuse for the traps I'd set.
@Mikolai: Is...is that what I think it is? Gibs? :O OMG, if they bring back gibs, then it's definitely a plus! I like seeing my enemies flying off into pieces when being blown up with a rocket/grenade, not ragdoll free-flying effects. XD
Gibs=Gud!
Loved the trailer, by the way. This is the way to advertise a game. The direction for this one kind of reminds me of the game: No One Lives Forever, which is good. lol
They should definitely put these clips on TV just before the release of the game.
