Shocking results of a survey published in the Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine show that them kids who play games don't read no good. Boys gaming on a school night spent 30% less time reading, with girls spending 34% less time on their homework. This is already leading to some alarmist headlines. So, what, we got a problem here?
Doesn't look like it. The research discovered that while gaming affected reading and homework time (what, 6-7 hours a day at school isnt' enough?), it did not cut in on time spent with the family, socialising with friends, playing sports or getting exercise. You know. The important things in life!
