gcubebbprice.jpg

A Best Buy employee sends word that Best Buy is already printing up the Sunday advertisement for the price-cut GameCube.

He says that the Nintendo reps have confirmed the price cut and that he's in the process of trying to obtain an ad for scanage and email age so we can postage...it.

  • I ask how wants a gamecube today? well not me...

  • Agreed. Gamecube is farthest console from my mind at the moment.

  • Depending on how much they sweeten the deal I'll get a GameCube! Will mostly depend on the price and availability of the "classic" GameCube games and the price of the GC LCD screen (unles they have a PC monitor connector for the GC now).

  • I almost sold mine when they pushed Zelda: TP to late summer. I haven't touched my GC in a year.

  • Sucks for you first adopters. There are some benefits for coming late into the game :P

  • i got some mileage out of the Ps2 with katamari and god of war, but out of the 3 I play the gamecube the most. xbox feels a little sober for my tastes. anyone recommend any WACKY or FUN xbox games that I can use to get some more use out of it? My favorite xbox game is otogi 2 but I can't get past the spider boss. Ninja Gaiden seems pointless because i suck at it and they should've just packaged the walkthrough along with the Cthulhu game I sold. I like pikmin 2, viewtiful joe, puzzlers, etc...capcom and nintendo type stuff.

  • Yeah, there is value coming into a console at the end of its life. Basically all the games of any value are out and cheap. My gamecube died a while ago, I might actually look into repurchasing it. (Although, with the price drops hitting the PS2, I may just buy a new one since my old PS2 is making noise like a 1989 Toyotoa Tercel)
