Nintendo are doing an OK job of freshening up the DS Lite's colour range, but really, you're never going to make everyone happy. There's always going to be certain people pissing and moaning about how there's no fuschia, dark teal or garnet coloured handhelds.

Or...will there? Those people can direct themselves to the Nintendo World Store in NYC, where the afore-mentioned colours are now available (presumably not new, you just get yours painted), along with burgundy, bronze, flame and what looks like a gold and pearl one as well.

Me, I'll keep on pissing and moaning, though. I've always wanted one in British racing green. Luke Plunkett
