There are some admittedly rare moments in gaming, when I and the whole of gnomedom really feel that good taste is still alive. Barely perhaps, but definitely alive. Playing Fahrenheit and Beyond Good and Evil were such moments. Seeing Counter-Strike: Source get a Fawlty Towers map was the latest.
Is it ever. Not that terrorists ever did assail the hotel in the show, but if they had, I'm hoping they'd be thwarted by some sort of hilarious hijinx, perhaps involving Manuel, perhaps the Major. It wouldn't be Basil. His bumbling and dithering would see him meet a swift end. I'd imagine terrorists, unlike Sybil, have little time for it.
