DeviantArtist, =transfuse (aka Ivan Flores), has an amazing little collection of Metroid fan art that he's created posted to his DeviantArt gallery. Each one was created digitally using Photoshop CS2, a Wacom tablet and a hell of a lot of talent. According to his notes, this particular piece took him only 36 hours which is pretty impressive considering most of us probably couldn't produce something like this in 36 months. Unfortunately, unscrupulous internet art thieves have taken Ivan's work and posted it on various sites with his signature removed and no links to his other works. Here at Kotaku we believe giving credit where credit is due, so kudos to you Ivan, your work is amazing and you deserve all the attention and sweet paying art gigs you can get.
