Moody, gloomy Rockstar game LA Noire used to be, as are all "we don't know which side of the fence to throw our asses over" titles, listed as a "next-generation" release. Which we always just assume will mean 360 and PS3. No longer. Near the tail end of Take 2's Q2 financial results is an upcoming release schedule, and the game is listed as PS3-only.

Chalk up a win for the PS3 fanboy alliance? Those celebrations might have to be put on ice. Right above LA Noire's listing is that for GTA IV's episodic content, and that is listed as 360-only. Oh dear.

Could just be a mix-up, since we've heard no official announcement on this. Or...it could be their way of breaking the news to you very, very gently. We'll update when we hear more. Luke Plunkett
