I've been a bit thumbs-down on Halo 2's ilovebees.com Alternate Reality Game, but only because I don't like the amount of involvement the damn thing requires. But this final event seems like it will be pretty cool. I may even make the drive to Austin to check it out. Let me know if you're heading there too. What's so cool? Keep reading to find out. The events are taking place in four locations simultaneously on November 4th, from 6-9PM Pacific Time. The events are taking place in NYC, Schaumberg, IL (?), Austin, and San Francisco. The cool thing is that the locations are all movie theaters, so the resolution of the game will probably involve a short film of some sort. They're also giving out DVDs. Of what, who knows? Finally, there's also going to be some means of playing Halo 2 multiplayer at the events.

If you can't make an event on the 4th, they're also giving away just the DVD at 27 places all across the US on the 27th. Check out the information for that at ilovebees.blogspot.com. You have to know a codephrase, how cute. The details for the 4th are in this GameSpot article:
